Fairly clean venue with decent location next to The Park. The best staff and their attitude. Location close enough to Westfield shopping center, London and the underground subway, free parking.

The area was quiet and suited my needs for a particular location. Staff were friendly.
There was no alternative fire escape route from my top floor room. I felt insecure with the knowledge that there was probably no member of staff on the premises overnight - what happens in an emergency? The room was not particularly clean.

Staff was very kind to us.
The water boiler in the room was not clean and hesitated to use.

The only positive aspect was the location. Very quick and convenient for Ealing centre and the underground.
The place had not been properly cleaned. Badly stained carpets and dining room chairs. Thick layers of dust on skirting boards. Hairs in bed and on bedside table. Remote control and kettle handle sticky. Mould on bathroom wall. Hotel is described as recently refurbished - there was no evidence of this at all. Very tired place, worn carpets and bathroom flooring, mouldy, dirty, very very dated. Extremely noisy floorboards and doors slamming loudly, sleep was impossible. My friend also stayed there and had water running down her walls at night as the man in the room above had left his shower running. There was no one on reception after 10pm so she had to sort this out on her own. Receptionist does not know how to smile.

I was really pleased with how conveniently situated it was, just a short walk to Walpole Park and close to the London Museum of Water and Steam, made my weekend explorations so much fun and filled with great sights.

Convenient location for Ealing town centre
The hotel had very creaky floorboards making it difficult to be quiet when returning late at night and some damp.

It was pretty dirty, needs good refurbish, the breakfast was awful and half way through we were told to leave the table as the woman wanted to clear it!!!! Beds not very comfy, shower/toilet tiny, room dull and old, not clean!

My daughter & I enjoyed our stay at Abbey Lodge. We found the staff- especially Lee- very friendly & obliging. The rooms were clean & well appointed & the location is really optimal.
My only complaint was related to Hostel world for failing to communicate to Abbey Lodge that I would be arriving late in the evening as my flight didn't land at Heathrow until 9pm. The Hotel was closed for the night so I waited outside until 11.30pm, when another guest let me in to find my keys on the reception table. The staff were very apologetic.

The location is great with nearby cafes and pubs. The room was basic, with peeling wallpaper and poorly fitted toilet fixtures that detracted significantly from the experience. The decor feels dated, and while the shower worked well, the amenities were lacking, with limited electrical outlets. It's advised to double-check safety as the overall ambiance felt questionable.

Spacious room and comfortable bed. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were very accomodating. The Wi-fi was a great bonus and the experience was very pleasant.
